Abstract
The article describes the features of the technological structure of the information society and its understanding within the framework of modern social and philosophical discourse. An attempt is made to use the methodological specificity of the information society analysis based on the concept of technological structure to confirm the essence of the conceptualization as a continuous process of understanding of the object refinement.

The objectives and requirements of the regulator on the disclosure of information on the Web activities of insurance companies are considered. Data for 2007-2008 and 2015 are compared. The data obtained are interpreted and recommendations on increased demands of modern society to the information disclosed on the web-sites of insurance companies are formulated.

This article is devoted to the analyses of the nature of contradictions specific for the process of self-organization of the world super-system at the present stage of its development. The emphasis is made on fundamental anthropological and social risks caused by the growing mismatch between the essential human needs and social requests for specific human qualities. The authors disclose the reasons for the decline of social responsibility of individuals, increasing unintentionality in constructing social reality, offer a strategy to overcome the contradictions of the globalized world by building an hierarchy of values, the core of which are the existential values.

The article discusses the approach to the organization of research work at a university using information technology for extraction of contextual knowledge. The methodology of using contextual search and retrieval of contextual knowledge of Humanitariana e-library, a virtual informational resource center with the possibilities of functional integration of resources and services in a distributed environment, is proposed.
Experience of research and analysis on the basis of Humanitariana services for the first time is presented for the extensive discussion. It is systematized and presented as a part of the overall concept of the mega-departments of ITMO University and complements the systematic understanding of management and organizational trace and information society technologies that contribute to its implementation.

Online Activity of the Olympic Volunteer Movement “Sochi-2014” before and after Games

The article discusses the online activity of volunteers of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2014 in the social network “VKontakte”. The results of the analysis of the communities by a number of indicators of activity of participants, such as their involvement, rating of likes, comments and reposts. It turned out that at the end of the games the online communication of volunteers is being continued. The most discussed and popular theme is the work of volunteers during the Games.

The article presents the results of the Russian-Mongolian international project “Establishment of Baikal Information Center”. The peculiarities and problems of inter-state information exchange between countries in the sphere of natural resources use in the trans-boundary basin of Baikal Lake. Experience of information resources and technologies integration by the establishment of inter-state information and telecommunication system, combining Geographic Information System, geo-portal and mapping service.
